Jodie Comer Bows Out Of Ridley Scott’s ‘Kitbag,’ Citing Scheduling Issues; Apple In “Advanced Negotiations” With Another Star For Empress Joséphine Role

While Jodie Comer had regarded to reunite along with her The Last Duel director Ridley Scott this month on the set of his Napoleon Bonaparte biopic Kitbag, the actress has now made her exit from the mission, citing Covid-related scheduling points, Deadline has confirmed.

We hear that the the movie’s different lead, Joaquin Phoenix, is remaining with the Apple mission within the position of Bonaparte, and that the streamer is already in “advanced negotiations” with one other actor who will take over Comer’s half because the French emperor and navy chief’s spouse, Empress Joséphine.
